The Magic of Cloth Act VI – Garden of Dreams

The Dufferin Piecemakers Quilting Guild presents a quilt show for the public every three years in order to highlight the work of guild members.

The show displays over 300 unique quilts for beds, for walls, for tables and for bodies.

There is also a merchants mall with 12 vendors, a raffle/mini quilt draw, a Northcott challenge and a tea room.

The show is October 22 – 23, 2016 at the Orangeville Agricultural Event Centre in Mono just outside of Orangeville.

Celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday by being part of Canada’s biggest Quilt Bee!

CQA%20-Bee-Black-Yellow-circle-Jill%20Buckley-2016-signedCANADA’S BIGGEST QUILT BEE is going to take place June 14-17, 2017 at Quilt Canada 2017 in Toronto, ON and your help is needed to prepare! We are planning to donate 1,000 quilts to Ronald McDonald Houses for kids and we need slab blocks and quilt tops made! This is how CQA/ACC is celebrating Canada’s 150th – helping kids in need, and we need YOU to help! Just one block or a few or a top… we will take anything you can give!

We need lots of quilt tops and 12 ½” slab blocks incorporating at least one piece of special Canada fabric.

This is where YOU come in. Can you make a block or two, or a top, and send it in? Even a finished quilt would be amazing. The BIG QUILT BEE is happening at Quilt Canada 2017, four days of intense assembling, stitching, quilting and binding. June 14-17, 2017 in Toronto ON. Can you come and help?
